After hearing from David’s doctor that his health has suffered a setback, Jackie does her best to stay strong for the family.

Kim, Jackie and the kids tour the bedrooms, which represent huge projects that have yet to be tackled. During the circuit, Jackie reflects on her beloved daughter, Victoria, and the foundation created in her memory Victoria’s Voice.

As Jackie gets ready for her role interviewing contestants for the Miss America pageant, she must also focus on the demolition of the bedroom areas. Several of the kids grab hard hats and hammers to help out – after all, who doesn’t love to smash things?

Kim and Jackie return to the warehouse to pore through the antiques Jackie and David have collected over the past 25 years for pieces for the living room, among them a stately grand piano.

"There’s a lot of things in this warehouse,” says Kim. “The knights, things that are amazing that I want to use, things that I question if they really want me to use. But that’s the joy of working with this family – you have to take everything and throw a little twist in it.”

Back at Versailles, the dining room walls are being adorned in opulent silver- and gold-embroidered fabric and the lush velvet drapes hung. The enormous antique mirror is mounted and the stunning 1000sqft custom carpet is rolled out over the marble floor.

To prepare it for the grand dining room, the 20-person dining room table is refinished and the antique chairs are reupholstered in purple and finished with more gold. Overlooking the room are David and Jackie’s portraits, which are so huge it takes multiple people to move them!
