Based in Orlando, our heart and soul (and expertise) lies in creating beautiful and functional environments in the hospitality and commercial markets. Our company was founded in 2002 by Kimberly Bewley Coombs (the ‘KB’ in KBCO) and we’ve spent the last 20+ years approaching both large and small projects with a creative, driven, detail-obsessed fervor. From big picture strategy to finishing finesses, our team offers the expertise of a large firm with the personal attention of a boutique firm (a happy medium, if you will).

KIMBERLY COOMBS
Founder & President
Company founder and head-honcho, Kim Coombs, is an award-winning interior designer with over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Kim brings amazing drive, passion and vision to each project, plus an extraordinary ability to not only visualize a concept, but also organize, document and produce it to the satisfaction and delight of clients.
Kim studied architecture at Florida A&M while earning a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Florida State University. This complementary focus gives Kim a rare and useful understanding of the relationship between architecture and interior design. Knowing the build side of design helps streamline projects and limit roadblocks, and has attracted high profile clientele including Hilton Hotels, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Universal Studios. Kim is licensed in Interior Design by the State of Florida, registered with the Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and LEED accredited for her commitment to sustainable building practices and principles outlined by the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
When Kim isn’t blazing new trails is design, she’s exploring the world itself. A foodie and extrovert, you can count on Kim to bring enthusiasm and a sense of adventure to every encounter.
